How the guides and calculators are researched, written, checked and corrected

This page explains how content on Monthly Income Booster is made, so you can judge how far to trust it. It applies to everything published on the site by DixonAppStudio LLC.

Sources we rely on

Tax rules, thresholds and limits come from the IRS and the Social Security Administration. Wage and overtime law comes from the U.S. Department of Labor, and pay by occupation from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Saving, debt and banking guidance is checked against the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the FDIC, investing basics against the SEC's Investor.gov, and scam warnings against the FTC. Platform fees and pay rates come from the platform's own published pages. Every guide and calculator lists the official sources to check its rules against, because limits change every year.

How numbers are produced

Calculators and worked answers are computed by code from stated assumptions — for example 40 hours a week for 52 weeks — and those assumptions are shown beside the result. A figure that depends on your state, filing status or circumstances is described as a range or a planning estimate, never as your answer. We do not invent statistics, testimonials, income screenshots or ratings, and a figure we cannot trace to a source does not go on the page.

Earnings claims

Side-income pages are where finance sites most often overpromise. Ranges we give for a side job are illustrative — built from platforms' published rates, public pay data and our own arithmetic — and each page says that they are not typical results. We describe start-up costs, fees and taxes alongside the income, we say when most people earn little or nothing, and we do not describe anything as guaranteed, passive when it is not, or risk-free.

Advertising and referral links

Ads are served by Google AdSense and are labelled as advertisements. A small number of pages link to financial or cashback services through referral links, which are marked as sponsored and listed on the affiliate disclosure page. Advertisers and partners do not see content before it is published, cannot request changes, and cannot pay for a recommendation. We do not publish sponsored posts or sell links.

Quality over quantity

A page exists only if it answers something no other page on the site does. In September 2026 we removed more than 300 pages that fell short of that: over 230 automatically generated pay pages that differed only in their numbers, product round-ups built on a product feed, and several pages that answered the same question with different wording. Each was redirected to the page that now answers it best, and the automated checks that run on every build fail if thin, templated or placeholder pages come back.

Use of AI tools

We use AI tools to help draft and edit text, review code and check pages for errors, and the personalised plan generator uses an AI model to tailor its suggestions. Nothing is published on the strength of a tool alone: every factual statement must trace to a calculation or a cited source, and every page is checked against its sources and our automated quality checks before it goes live.

Corrections and updates

If you spot an error, email support@monthlyincomebooster.com with the page and, if possible, a source. We review every report; when a page is corrected, its updated date changes. Pages that carry tax figures are reviewed when the IRS publishes the next year's limits, and pages that no longer meet this policy are improved, merged or removed.
