Monthly Income Booster is a free website of money calculators and guides for people working out how to earn more alongside, or instead of, a regular job: converting pay, pricing freelance and service work, estimating self-employment tax, and understanding how different kinds of income actually work. It is built and run by DixonAppStudio LLC, an independent software studio based in Elgin, South Carolina, United States, which also publishes the Monthly Income Booster app for iPhone and Android.
DixonAppStudio LLC is a small studio that makes calculators, utility apps and games for the web, iOS and Android. The pages on this site are written, checked and maintained in-house by the Monthly Income Booster editorial team. We are not a bank, broker, tax preparer or registered investment adviser, and nothing on the site is personal financial, tax or legal advice. When a question needs a professional — a tax return, a lease, an investment decision — the page says so.
Around 70 calculators — pay conversions, freelance rates, self-employment and quarterly tax, gig-driver pay after costs, rental cash flow, dividend income, debt payoff, emergency funds — and guides that explain the numbers behind them: how much common side jobs pay, what they cost to start, how they are taxed, and where people get caught out. Every calculator runs in your browser and shows its assumptions next to the result.
Money figures are the part of a finance page most likely to mislead, so we are careful with them. Arithmetic is done by code, not typed by hand, so a page cannot disagree with its own calculator. Tax rules and limits are checked against the IRS, Social Security Administration and Department of Labor, and each guide lists the official sources to check them against. Earnings ranges for side jobs are illustrative, drawn from what platforms publish and public pay data; they are not typical results, and each page says so.
The website is free to use with no account. It is funded by advertising from Google AdSense, by optional tips, and by a small number of referral links to financial and cashback services, which are disclosed where they appear and on the affiliate disclosure page. Advertisers and referral partners have no say over what we write, and no company can pay to be recommended. The optional mobile app is sold through the App Store and Google Play.
We will not promise that any side hustle, investment or plan will make you a particular amount of money, publish invented testimonials or income screenshots, recommend a product because it pays us, or tell you a strategy is risk-free.
